The Maha Chakri Sirindhorn library was designed to transform the atmosphere from that of an academic space to become a lifestyle atmosphere. This involved a variety of different reading corners for the new intake of students. Practika was able to meet the requirements of the designer which was to maintain a warm and friendly feeling. This was done by concealing metal structures behind the wood in the large bookshelves which needed to be especially strong.
